You Can Achieve a Better Life with the Right Support
Pain shouldn’t be the thing that defines your week. With the right hands-on care, an honest diagnosis, and a structured plan, most people see real progress within the first few sessions. We’ve helped thousands of locals get back to walking, lifting, playing with their kids, and sleeping through the night — and we’d love to help you do the same.
How We Work
We do things differently from the typical 30-minute physio appointment.
Step 1
We Listen and Assess Thoroughly
Your first session is a full hour. We ask about your pain, what you’ve tried, and how it’s affecting your daily life. Then we do a proper hands-on and movement assessment to find the root cause.
Step 2
You Get Treated — Not Just Assessed
Most patients receive hands-on treatment in that first hour. You walk away with three things: a clear diagnosis, relief from treatment, and a written recovery plan with realistic timeframes.
Step 3
Your Whole Care Team, One Building
If your recovery needs exercise physiology, massage, dietetics, or women’s health physio — it’s all here. One set of records, one team that talks to each other about your care.
One Clinic. Everything You Need.
One stop destination for Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Remedial Massage, Women’s Health Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Lymphoedema Therapy& Hydrotherapy.
Physiotherapy
Thorough hour-long assessments from master’s-qualified physiotherapists. We diagnose the root cause, treat hands-on in the same session, and send you home with a written plan and clear timeframes. This is the core of what we do — and the reason most patients are referred to us by their GP.
Exercise Physiology
Once your pain is under control, our exercise physiologists build strength and conditioning programs to keep you moving well long-term. Especially valuable for chronic conditions, post-surgical recovery, and patients returning to sport.
Remedial Massage
Hands-on muscle therapy coordinated with your physio treatment — not a separate appointment you have to organise elsewhere. Helps with chronic tension, sports recovery, and post-injury muscle tightness.
Women’s Health Physiotherapy
Specialist physiotherapy for pelvic floor dysfunction, pregnancy and post-natal recovery, bladder issues, and pelvic pain — in a private, supportive setting with experienced women’s health physios.
Nutrition & Dietetics
For patients where nutrition plays a role — anti-inflammatory eating for chronic pain, weight management for joint loading, recovery fuelling for surgical rehab — our dietitians work as part of your care team.
Hydrotherapy
Pool-based exercise for patients who find land-based movement too painful — chronic pain, severe arthritis, post-surgical, or significant deconditioning. A gentler way to rebuild strength and mobility.
Our Approach
Three principles guide how we work — and they’re the reason GPs across Logan trust us with their patients.
Hands-On First
We treat in the first session. No “come back next week for the actual treatment.” If hands-on work will help, you get it on day one, alongside your assessment.
Honest Assessment
You’ll leave knowing what’s wrong, what’s driving it, and how long recovery will likely take. If we don’t think we can help — or you’d benefit from a different specialist — we’ll tell you straight.
Structured Recovery
Every patient leaves with a written plan: exactly what’s wrong, what we’ll do about it, how many sessions it should take, and what you need to do between visits. No vague “let’s see how it goes.”
Not Sure What You Need?
Book a 15-minute complimentary phone call with our director therapist. He’ll listen to what’s going on, give you an honest read on whether we can help, and recommend a sensible next step — even if that’s not booking with us.
Common Questions
Do I need a referral to see a physio?
No. You can book directly without a GP referral. Our physiotherapists are qualified to assess, diagnose, and create a management plan for your condition. If we think medical input would help, we’ll coordinate with your GP or specialist.
What happens at the first appointment?
Your initial session is a full 1-hour assessment. We’ll listen to your history, assess your movement, identify what’s driving the problem, and talk through a structured treatment plan. Most patients get hands-on treatment in that first session too.
Do you accept WorkCover, DVA, and NDIS?
Yes, all three. We handle the documentation and reporting. If you’re on a WorkCover or CTP claim, we’ll work with your insurer and employer to keep your recovery on track.
What makes your clinic different from other physios in the area?
Two things. First, every new patient gets a full 1-hour assessment instead of the standard 30 minutes. Second, we have physio, exercise physiology, remedial massage, women’s health physiotherapy, dietetics, lymphoedema therapy, and hydrotherapy all in one building. If your recovery needs more than physio alone, we walk you down the hall instead of referring you across town.
Is there parking at the clinic?
Yes. The Shailer Park clinic has on-site parking on Bulwarna Street.
What conditions can physiotherapy help with?
Physiotherapy can assist with many different conditions such as headache, back and spinal pain, and shoulder pain. Our physiotherapists are well trained in helping individuals get their pain better controlled. Physiotherapy can also help with dizziness, imbalance, weakness, and many other physical conditions. If you’re not sure, you can book a complimentary 15-minute consultation with our Director therapist to discuss more.
How many physiotherapy sessions will I need?
The number of sessions depends on the condition, duration, and severity of someone’s presentation. Most people require between 6 and 12 sessions for better relief and a long-lasting result. Your sessions are structured to progress toward self-management and create long-term, impactful changes in your physical health.
Can physiotherapy help with chronic pain?
Absolutely — physiotherapists are experts in the field of chronic pain management. Physiotherapy is very well equipped with the latest technology and treatment techniques, and the ability to prescribe an individualised exercise program to help you better manage chronic pain.
Can physiotherapy help me avoid surgery?
Physiotherapy can definitely help with specific conditions to avoid surgery. A lot of recent research has shown that physiotherapy treatment can be as effective as surgery for certain conditions in the right situation. The best step is an initial assessment with one of our physiotherapists, or a complimentary phone appointment with our Director therapist, to provide specific guidance about your condition.
What should I wear to my appointment?
It’s best to wear comfortable, loose clothing. Your clothing should be flexible enough for your therapist to access the area being treated and complete a thorough assessment and management.
Can physiotherapy help with back, neck, shoulder, or knee pain?
Absolutely — these are the most common areas our clinic treats for pain management.
Can I claim with private health insurance?
Yes — we can claim your private health fund on the spot if your policy covers physiotherapy treatment.
Do you offer hands-on treatment and exercise rehabilitation?
We definitely do. From your first session you’ll receive specific advice about your condition, a management plan, hands-on treatment, and a tailored exercise program.
How soon can I get an appointment?
We often have same-day appointments available. If you can’t find a suitable time, give us a call and we’ll find one for you.
